The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on Feb. 2

Steven Ray Cain, 60, 7528 East Ky. 70, Yosemite: unlawful distribution of a meth precursor; first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $1,500 cash or property. Jamie Walters with the Casey County Sheriff’s Office testified.

Ricky Dale George, 49, 120 Oak St., Columbia: trafficking in a controlled substance, second or more offense, meth. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Dennis Allen, Commonwealth detective testified.

Jerry R. Cochran, 62, 1056 Peyton Ridge Road, Liberty: first-degree bail jumping for failing to appear in court for a felony charge. No bond was issued. Allen testified.

Cassidy Elizabeth Kearney, 32, 209 Middleburg St., Liberty: first-degree bail jumping for failure to appear in court on a felony charge. No bond was set. Allen testified.

Wilbur Riddle Jr., 38, 12275 Baldknob Road, Frankfort: first-degree bail jumping for failure to appear in court on felony charge; first-degree persistent felony offender. No bond was set. Allen testified.

Bradley Adam Flachbart, 30, 6921 North Upper Brush Creek, Hustonville: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; no driver’s license. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Chad Weddle with the CCSO testified.

Christopher Clark Davis, 29, 551 North Hatfield Road, Dunnville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth. Summons only. Weddle testified.

James L. Hines, 53, 667 South U.S. 127, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third or more offense, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; tampering with physical evidence. Summons only. Weddle testified.

William D. Norris, 40: first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; no driver’s license; failure to use proper signal. Bail was set for $5,000 cash. Weddle testified.

Ronald J. Sharp, 41, 1101 Ellison Drive, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; DUI third offense; no driver’s insurance; driving on suspended license. Summons issued. Weddle testified.

Stephen D. Brown, 65, 325 Southern Ave., Reading, Ohio: theft by unlawful taking between $10,000 and $1,000,000 by taking numerous shotguns, rifles, handguns, silver and gold coins, wallet, jewelry, laptop computer and several other miscellaneous items belonging to the Thomas Mark Tarter estate. Bail was set for $10,000 cash only. Kevin Roberts with the Kentucky State Police testified.

Phillip Mounce, 52, 136 North Maple St. Somerset: DUI fourth or more offense; driving on a suspended license; reckless driving. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Zach Scott with KSP testified.

Austin L. Scott, 24: third-degree assault and third-degree terroristic threatening when he injured and threatened to kill Chief Steve Garrett; fourth-degree assault when he kicked a female; harassment when he spit on a female while she attempted to treat him; second-degree disorderly conduct when he engaged in violent behavior at the Casey County Hospital. Bail was set at $2,000 cash only. Lt. Ronnie Smith with the Liberty Police Department testified.
