Pets of the week, Feb. 27

Published 9:19 am Tuesday, February 27, 2018

Our featured pets for this week are Goldie and Leo.

Goldie

Goldie is a gorgeous two-year-old orange tabby. She was reported as a stray and brought to the humane society by an animal control officer. It is easy to see why we named her Goldie. She has a lovely golden coat and beautiful matching colored eyes. Goldie is a little bit shy but she is coming around and feeling more comfortable in her new surroundings. She would probably do best in a quieter home without small children. This sweet girl is sure to appreciate a loving and secure forever home.

Leo is a truly handsome medium-sized mixed breed dog. He just turned 1-year-old and looks like he is part Aussie and possibly part Setter. Leo was surrendered to the humane society due to his owner’s failing health. Leo has an outgoing personality. He walks well on leash and enjoys attention. His previous owner told us Leo spent time both indoors and outdoors and is house-trained. Leo has a happy outlook on life and he’s ready for a fresh start with his new family.
