Fish fry and chitterlings 

Hope Full Gospel Church will be having a fish fry and chitterlings sale at 12:30 p.m. this Saturday. The church is located at 193 E Martin Luther King Blvd. Call (859) 238-0192 for orders.

Early worship service

First Baptist Church, Second and Walnut St., Danville, will start an 8:15 a.m. worship service on Sunday, March 11. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m and our regular Sunday worship service is at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome anytime. Rev. Darrick Briscoe, Pastor.

Singing 

Gospel Sounds will be singing at Mt. Salem Baptist Church, in Hustonville, this Sunday at 6:30 p.m.

Association Spring Meeting

New Salem Baptist Church will be hosting the Lincoln County Baptist Association Spring Meeting on Monday, March 12. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. followed by the service at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will Bro. Jordan Burkes. There will also be special singing by The Fall Creek Boys.

Gospel meeting

Crab Orchard Church of Christ will hold a gospel meeting March 18-23. Services times are: 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday; and 7:30 p.m. Guest speaker will be Danny McKibben. Everyone welcome.

Community Easter egg hunt

Willow Grove Baptist Church will host a community-wide Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday, March 31 at 4306 Stanford Road in Danville. All are invited for free food, games, and entertainment for the whole family. Prizes will be awarded to winning egg hunters in age groups up to sixth grade.

‘The Living Last Supper’ presented 

The public is cordially invited to share in the performance of ‘The Living Last Supper’ presented 6 p.m. Sunday, March 25, at Stanford Baptist Church. “The Living Last Supper,” written by Ernest K. Pmurian and edited by Ben Hawkins, depicts the DiVinci “Last Supper.” In this play, each of the disciples give a heart searching narrative as they try to determine who will betray Christ. This is an opportunity for the audience to also search their own hearts.Please bring a non-perishable food item and an offering will be received both to benefit Fort Logan Cooperative Ministries. A reception will follow the service in the Christian Life Center.
