Wanda Jean Harper Anderson

1935-2018

Wanda Jean Harper Anderson, 82, of Danville, passed away March 11, 2018 in Danville. 

She was born on August 25, 1935, in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Jerry and Etta Moore Harper. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, James Robert Anderson. Wanda was a homemaker all her life, who loved her family immensely. She loved her flowers, gardening, and was known for her cooking. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. Wanda was of the Baptist faith. 

Surviving are a son, James David Anderson; a daughter, Carolyn A. Clifton, a granddaughter, Tory Collins (Damon), all of Danville; three great-grandchildren, Cristalynn Bottoms, James Tanner Bottoms, and Christopher Collins; and a great-great grandchild, James Alexander Bottoms. 

Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by a daughter, Derotha Lynn Anderson. 

Private funeral services for close friends and family will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. www.prestonpruitt.com
