‘Glow in the Dark’ Easter egg hunt

Westside Community United Methodist Church in Hustonville is excited to invite everyone to a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt for children up to fifth grade on Saturday, March 24. The evening begins with a free Easter dinner at 6:30 p.m. followed by a version of Family Feud at 7:30 p.m. The Easter egg hunt will follow at 8:30 p.m. with thousands of glow in the dark eggs and candy prizes for participants. Alternate prizes will be available for children with food allergies. The church is located at 2875 U.S. 127, Hustonville,  and can be reached at (606) 346-5035 or on the web at www.wcumc.net.

Free community meal, toiletries bag

Danville First Church of God will host a community meal 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 24.  This will be a free soup/sandwich meal for those in our community who need a hot meal. There will be a free bag of toiletries/personal hygiene items for each family attending. If anyone has questions or needs more information, they may call the church office at (606) 236-4700.

Soup and sandwich night, donations accepted

Paint Lick Fairview Christian Church will hold a soup and sandwich night 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 17. Different kinds of soups and sandwiches with desserts and drinks will be served. Donations accepted.

Breakfast buffet offered Saturday

St. James A.M.E. Church Nora F. Smith Missionary Society wil be having a breakfast buffet from 7-11 a.m. Saturday, March 17. The church is located at 124 East Walnut St.

Singing

There will be a singing at the Harris Creek Baptist Church at 6 p.m. Sunday. Just Enough will perform.
