Dislikes limited quantities of discounts at Kroger

Dear Editor,

I went to Kroger on Sunday afternoon to get a turkey on sale that day only for 88 cents a pound. I asked in the meat department and was told they were all long gone and they didn’t receive enough in.

I went up front to the service desk and asked for a rain check. I was told the corporate offices will no longer allow them to give  a rain check on a digital download coupon item on sale for one day. They have it printed in the ad small that they are going to limit the quantity of the item they choose to sell at the sale price.

I feel this is wrong. I called the corporate office today at (513) 762-4000. When prompted press 0. Then told them you have a complaint. The woman told me exactly what the local people did. They are limiting the quantity of items they will provide.

If you are tired of going out there to find what you want out of stock, and if they will give a rain check, only to have it expire before the item returns, call and complain. I told them I will no longer be coming out for daily sales. Telling corporate they will lose money is the only way to make them change their policy.
