Pet of the Week

Reese

Our featured pets for this week are Reese and Scooby.

Reese is a gorgeous long-haired tortoiseshell. She was found as a stray and we estimate her to be about two years old. Reese is friendly but just a little on the shy side. She enjoys petting and quiet time. Reese’s adopter will just need to give her a little time to adjust. But with some love and attention the reward will be a beautiful and gracious companion for many years to come!

Scooby

Scooby is a very sweet senior lab mix that was surrendered to the DBCHS because his owner was moving. Scooby had an old eye injury that had not been treated and the veterinarian recommended removal of his right eye. So with the help of donations to cover the expense, Scooby had surgery and recovered in the comfort of a foster home. He is now fully healed and having one eye does not bother him a bit. Scooby is a favorite of staff and volunteers and we can’t wait for him to find his perfect match with a loving family.
