Police blotter from March 23, 24, 25

MARCH 23

1:49 a.m., accident at Lebanon Road and the bypass; KU notified due to a utility pole down and wires are exposed; arrest made.

2:41 a.m., residential fire on Worldstown Road; 3 a.m., fire department notified KU and Intercounty Engergy but neither could confirm the address; 3:33 a.m., fire under control.

3:19 a.m., the driver of a suspicious SUV backed into a yard on East Ila Avenue and a male subject has a flashlight.

9:21 a.m., citizen is at police department in reference to theft of packages from the front porch on East Martin Luther King Blvd.

10:25 a.m., officer is at school safety meeting at Boyle County schools central office.

11:30 a.m., two males are unconscious in a red car in Big Lots parking lot; arrest made.

12:52 p.m., water is bubbling up out of the ground near a fire hydrant on Allison Circle in Junction City; water department notified.

2:39 p.m., officer on Gwinn Island Road is reference to a burglary that occurred a couple of months ago; officer is requesting Fish and Wildlife officers; 3:04 p.m., a houseboat is fully sunk in 91 feet or more of water; 3:59 p.m., it’s unknown if the sinking is accidental or intentional; no gas or oil was on the boat at the time of the sinking.

3:41 p.m., vehicle stop on South Danville bypass; arrest made.

4:39 p.m., papers served to subject on Brookshire Drive; arrest made.

5:16 p.m., caller from law office on South Fourth Street wants to speak to an officer about someone urinating in the parking lot earlier today.

5:27 p.m., caller is complaining that the neighbor’s dogs are always barking at the caller’s dogs.

5:39 p.m., physical domestic altercation is in progress at Super 8 Motel.

5:47 p.m., caller from Adams Street is reporting someone used force to enter residence’s basement door and stole cash.

6:46 p.m., subject at police department lobby is reporting receiving stolen property that was purchased off of social media.

7:12 p.m., vehicle stop on Waveland Avenue; arrest made.

7:15 p.m., caller is reporting that a child’s father stated he was coming to take the infant; unknown if he is armed; firearms are in the caller’s home; officer told male to not trespass at the residence.

8:32 p.m., a male has drugs inside the caller’s home; he was there with her teenaged daughter, caused property damage then fled.

8:43 p.m., arrest made near Chinatown restaurant.

9:15 p.m., a small car has struck a deer on the bypass near Gose Pike.

11:31 p.m., a male under the influence of drugs or alcohol caused a disturbance inside Huddle House then went to a white car and is punching the window; arrest made.

MARCH 24

1:02 a.m., complaint that someone on a red sport bike is making a lot of noise at Imperial Mobile Home Park.

9:37 a.m., a 14-year-old female is out of control and her adult sister is wanting her removed from the property.

10:12 a.m., caller wants to speak to an officer about a gift card that was stolen and later cashed at Walmart.

2:18 p.m., officer is doing a public service visit for a child’s birthday party.

4:22 p.m., report of property damage to a Redbox outside of CVS, possibly by a gunshot.

6:51 p.m., vehicle stop at Five Star; arrest made.

8:28 p.m., bedroom at Arnold Tower is filling up with smoke.

8:48 p.m., vehicle stop on West Shelby Street; arrest made.

11:24 p.m., vehicle stop on Plainview Drive; arrest made.

MARCH 25

10:47 a.m., a female is intoxicated and is trying to get subjects to punch her at the Super 8 Motel.

3:12 p.m., caller stated a male on West Lexington Avenue looks like he is in the MS 13 gang; caller said he needs to be stopped because he is dangerous.

5:23 p.m., caller in Junction City is requesting a female be removed from property because she will not pay rent and she is causing a disturbance.

5:31 p.m., vehicle stop on South Fourth Street; arrest made.

9:03 p.m., a 21-year-old female, who is west of the roundabout, stated she fell off a train and has leg injuries; officer notified Norfolk Souther police about the female.
