Liz Orndorff, Danville resident and playwright, presented information on Thursday, March 22 about Scarlet Cup Theater, including background on past and future performances, as well as the unique approach they are taking to presenting plays.

Scarlet Cup “offers unexpected and occasional theater in surprising venues to challenge audiences with thought-provoking performances.” SCT likes to provide complementary programming to enrich the theater experience; this consists of talks at the library related to the subject of the play. On Sunday, March 25 at The Boyle County Public Library, Kathy Miles talked about “Childhood Trauma: Roots and Consequences.”

More information about Scarlet Cup Theater, including their upcoming presentation of “Gidion’s Knot” April 5-8, can be found on their Facebook page at bit.ly/2IN9VV7, or by calling (859) 319-1204.
