Sunrise Services

• The community is invited to an Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. this Sunday morning at the Danville First Church of God Pavilion, 3220 Harrodsburg Road. The service will immediately be followed by a potluck breakfast in the fellowship hall. This is a joint service/breakfast with Southside Christian Church and a warm welcome is extended to the community. These activities will be followed by the regular morning schedule at each church of Sunday School and morning worship to celebrate our risen Lord.

• Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Boones Creek Road, Lancaster, will have a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Sunday, April 1. Everyone is invited. Bishop Joseph Shea Brown, pastor.

• Southern Heights Baptist Church will have an 8 a.m. early service on Easter Sunday, March 31. Sunrise service will be through 9 a.m., then breakfast is 9-10 a.m., Sunday School is 10 a.m. and regular service is 11 a.m. Pastor Danny Sallee and the congregation welcome all. The church is located at 50 Southern Ave, off of Roy Arnold Boulevard.

Easter egg hunt

JUNCTION CITY — Ratha Community Church, located at 195 Grafton St., in Junction City, is having its annual free public Easter egg hunt for children of all ages at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 31 at the Junction City Park. In addition to the Easter eggs, prizes, candy and money will be awarded. More than 10,000 eggs will be hidden at the park.

Good Friday Service

Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, 1597 Boones Creek Road, Lancaster, will have a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. Guest speaker will be Pastor Jimmy McPherson, Stoney Point Baptist Church. Everyone is invited. Bishop Joseph Shea Brown, pastor.

Beech Grove to hold revival

Beech Grove Baptist Church in Crab Orchard will host revival services April 2-6 at 7 p.m., nightly. Pastor Gordon Chaney and congregation welcomes Evangelist Dwight Coffman for the services.

Waynesburg Pentecostal to hold revival

Waynesburg Pentecostal Church will hold revival services April 6-8 with Bro. Todd Hignite. Service times are Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
