Russell Murphy Family to sing
Mt. Salem Baptist Church will host the Russell Murphy Family from Corbin on Sunday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m.
Perryville United to hear Pastor Martin
Retired Pastor Ernest Martin will be preaching 11 a.m. Sunday, April 8 at Perryville United Methodist Church. Come worship with us and hear the powerful Word of God preached from one of the great servants of God.
Widows/widowers meal and meeting
The South District Baptist Association Widows/Widowers meal and meeting will be held Sunday, April 8 at Gethsemane Baptist Church fellowship hall located at 123 Quisenberry Avenue. This is a Christ-centered ministry intended to provide support and fellowship to the widows and widowers in our community. Serving by the ladies of Gethsemane will begin at 12:30 p.m. Deborah Cooley of Gethsemane will be provide the music and and a lady will share about her journey as a widow. Autumn Mastrioianni, RD, LD of the Ephraim McDowell Wellness Center will provide information on “How To Cook For One.” Cash donations will be accepted. Anniversary services
The third pastoral anniversary services for Elder Mark and Sister Wilhelmina Anthony will be held at the New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church, located atlocated at 229 Fox Run Trail on Sunday, April 8. The services will be held at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the church. Dinner will be served at 2:30 p.m. at Hogsett Elementary School immediately after morning services. The guest pastor and church for both services is Dr. Tommie L. Mims and the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
