Police blotter, April 10-11

APRIL 10

12:03 a.m., a 16-year-old stated his parents hit him and burned his arm; social services contacted.
8:47 a.m., extra patrol requested on Chestnut Street due to possible drug activity.
1:30 p.m., two people were heard arguing in the McKinley/Lisa Avenue area and was followed by two possible gun shots.
2:15 p.m., officers are to be on the lookout for a van driven by a male on U.S. 150; items were stolen from Walmart in Danville but taken to Stanford Walmart to turn in; four people may be in the van.
4:20 p.m., reckless driver northbound on Hustonville Road is texting and driving in a black vehicle.
6:08 p.m., caller is requesting to speak to an officer about the caller’s child who is in foster care.
7:22 p.m., a house is engulfed in flames on Scrubgrass Road.
8:37 p.m., a male at the railroad yard on Fryes Lane has been told to leave; staff is requesting assistance to remove them; unable to locate subject.

APRIL 11

7:16 a.m., report of attempted burglary at Silverbrook Drive residence.
9:16 a.m., a white truck in Aldi’s parking lot has been running since before 7 a.m. and it is unoccuppied; there is damage to the steering column.
11:02 a.m., report of theft of tools and tool boxes from a pickup truck on Highland Avenue.
11:38 a.m., a vehicle has rolled over on Alum Springs Road.
12:01 p.m., caller from Holladay Drive is requesting extra patrol due to finding a clothes hanger near a front window; caller believes someone was trying to enter the residence.
3:43 p.m., a bus has leaked a lot of fuel or oil on Perryville Road.
5:54 p.m., there is a verbal altercation between a son, father and sister in reference to the caller’s deceased mother’s property.
6:48 p.m., possible theft of property in progress on Highland Court; female in a white SUV pulling a trailer was last seen heading toward Second Street; arrest made.
6:54 p.m., verbal altercation is in progress between a tenant and landlord on Hogue Hollow Road; landlord has agreed to let tenants finishing moving out until 11 p.m.
6:54 p.m., caller from Springhill Road is requesting extra patrol in the area due to recent break-ins.
7:16 p.m., a physical altercation just occurred on Chestnut Street; arrest made.
