Gerald Wayne Naylor, 49, of Danville, died Saturday, April 14, 2018.

Born October 7, 1968, he was the son of Joyce Lee Sloan Naylor and the late Edward Lee Naylor. He was the Sexton of both Bellevue and Hilldale Cemeteries for the City of Danville for 20 years. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses. Gerald coached Woodland Colt’s football and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a 1987 graduate of Lincoln County High School.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Sandy Boyd Naylor; son, Jerry Wayne (Brittany Lowery) Naylor; brothers, Randall (Judy) Naylor, Danny (Sandy) Naylor, Dean Naylor and Eddie Naylor; sisters, Debbie (Kenny) Rogers, Tammy Naylor and Cindy Naylor Helm; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be 1 p.m., Thursday, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Michael Sullivan will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Clifford Helm, Brittany Lowery, Robert Boyd, Randy Naylor, Lee Naylor and Hunter Naylor. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
