In the upcoming election, Boyle Countians have an opportunity to elect a highly qualified jailer, Rita Douglas. I know her personally, and I respect her character and integrity.

Ms. Douglas holds a BA degree in sociology, juvenile justice and criminal justice. As a Corrections Unit Administrator for the Kentucky Department of Corrections she had the responsibility of supervising correctional officers and 450-500 offenders. She is a member of American Correctional Association (ACA).

Ms. Douglas will properly manage the facility to save money. She will work toward job training and rehabilitation with the goal of successful re-entry into the community.

I urge you to cast your vote for Rita Douglas.
