Bonita Kay Rousey, 74, of Danville died May 4, 2018.
Born September 14, 1943, in Casey County to the late Oval and Mary Durham Carman. Bonita was a retired nurse, attended Junction City First Baptist Church, loved to cross stitch, read, and going to Senior Citizens. She is the widow of Larry Rousey.
Survivors include her daughter, Vickie Shepherd of Junction City; two sons, Carlos Brooks (Rebecca) Wesley of Junction City and Troy Allen Wesley of Casey County; three sisters, Drayma (Richard) Holmes of Lawrenceburg, Nyla Harmon of Junction City, and Irma (Ronald “Woody”) Hunt of Lebanon, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Cory Shepherd, C.J. Wesley, and Andrew Wesley; and a great grandchild, Sahara Wesley.
Memorial service will be 8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home Junction City with Rev. Choe Sargent officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City.
