In the story “Houck resigns from Perryville Council” that appeared in Friday’s Advocate-Messenger, it was incorrectly stated that Perryville City Council has held two first readings on a proposed budget for fiscal year 2018-19. The council has discussed the budget at multiple meetings, but has never voted in favor of a first reading. In the same story, a statement by council member Paul Webb was misstated. Webb said others have said there are repairs needed to the sidewalks but “it’s not me, (council member) Julie (Clay) or (council member) Joann (Reynolds).”
