Fair faces

- Caleb Barker, from Mercer County, throws his head back to feel the speed of his carousel horse Monday night.
The Danville-Boyle County Fair opened Tuesday night, and continues through Saturday, June 16 with gates opening at 6 p.m. Events for tonight include:
• 6 p.m., goat show at the show barn, and carnival opens
• 7 p.m., Family night games at the old horse rink and pizza eating contest, bean boozled challenge and Moon Pie eating
7 p.m., Kentucky Truck Tuggers
7:30 p.m., Miss Preteen pageant
