Driving fund-raiser to benefit cadet

The Stuart Powell Cadet Squadron 122 Civil Air Patrol will be participating in the Driven to Give fund-raising event, sponsored by Lincoln Motor Company from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 at Stuart Powell Ford-Lincoln Mazda dealership located at 225 South Danville Bypass.

For every person who test drives a new Lincoln vehicle and completes a short survey, the dealership and Lincoln will donate $20 to the local cadet Civil Air Patrol squadron. Test drivers must be age 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Bradfordsville Jamboree

 Friday, June 15 at Old Bradfordsville Gym. Doors open at 5 p.m. for meal. Music begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10. Music by Ky South Band/Phillip Clarkson with special guest, Brandi Anderson. Meal includes pulled pork barbecue, baked beans, potato salad, dessert and drink for $8. Concessions will have hot dogs, chili dogs, chips, popcorn, candy bars, etc. All food sold separately.
