New Life House of Worship to hold VBS
Vacation Bible School at New Life House of Worship in Crab Orchard is Friday, June 22 from 6-8:30 p.m and Saturday, June 23 (Family Day) from 11 a.m.-4 p.m with games, water inflatables and plenty of food (weather permitting on family day since all activities will be held outside). Pastor, Bobby and Vickie Smith. The church is located on Hwy. 643, 3 1/2 miles, top of Chapel Gap Hill.
Pleasant Valley Missionary Day
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church will be having Missionary Day on Sunday, June 24 at 3:00 p.m. Guest will be Pastor Lawrence Gassett and Davistown Baptist Church. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited. Joesph Shea Brown, Pastor.
Message in song cancelled
God’s Hometown Church, 506 West Shelby St. in Junction City is having to cancel its message in song scheduled for 6 p.m., Sunday, June 24.
New Life House of Worship, Crab Orchard, will have a special singing featuring “Praise Singers” from Irvine on Sunday, June 24 at 11 a.m. The church is located on Hwy. 643, 3 1/2 miles, top of Chapel Gap Hill.
Widows/widowers meal and meeting
The next South District Baptist Associational Widows/Widowers Ministry Meal and Meeting will be Sunday, June 24 at Parksville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 6610 Alum Springs Road. A delicious meal will be prepared by the ladies of the church with serving to begin at 12:30 p.m. The church is located five miles west of the Danville Bypass on Highway 34 (Lebanon Road) and is on the left as you enter Parksville. If you didn’t get to be with us on May 31 for our Remembrance Gathering, please bring a picture of your spouse or one of you and your spouse. If you forgot to bring it with on the 31st, please bring it with you to this meeting. We look forward to another great time of fellowship. If you’re not there, you will be missed! Danville First Church of God to hold VBS
All children age third – sixth grade are invited to Vacation Bible School at Danville First Church of God June 25 – 29 from 6:15 – 8:45 p.m. This year’s theme is “Shipwrecked…Rescued by Jesus”. Registration is available online at www.danvillechurchofGod.com/vbs. Thanks to Burgin Independent Schools’ Summer Food Service Program, all kids age 18 and under will be able to take a free meal home with them each evening. Adults may purchase the meal for $3.
