A beautiful arrangement : At the June meeting of the Garden Club of Danville, three members of the club demonstrated the creation of a centerpiece for a summer party. Alice Biggers and Susan Jonas designed a buffet table for a garden party. Their arrangement contained garden flowers and leaves interspersed with spring vegetables, including baby carrots and eggplants, asparagus, and radishes. Martha Caywood made an exuberant red, white, and blue bouquet decorated with toy horns for a picnic table at the Brass Band Festival.
