JUNE 21

1:22 a.m., possible burglary in progress at Redi-mart on East Knob Lick Road in Junction City; male has broken out the glass of the door and entered the business; he fled on a bicycle southbound on U.S. 127; caller stated a black SUV came and circled the building then fled toward Danville; arrest made.

1:34 a.m., driver in a maroon car is doing donuts in the Five Star parking lot.

6:44 a.m., caller on Chestnut Grove Road is reporting criminal mischief that occurred overnight and there was a theft.

8:33 a.m., a vehicle has struck a utility pole on Lexington Road near Dogwood; possible injury and the vehicle is smoking.

10:07 a.m., caller is trying to locate the bicycle that her father was arrested on last night.

12:05 p.m., a suspicious man is in the underground parking area at Ephraim McDowell hospital; he’s in a maroon van; he was last seen going inside the hospital; subject had the door open to the van and leaned over inside of it; 12:41 p.m., the subject fled out of a bathroom window; he’s now in a bank; 12:44 p.m., subject is bleeding around his neck; arrest made.

2:32 p.m., a female on Skywatch Drive is requesting traffic control so she can pick up pieces of metal that spilled when a grill fell from the back of her truck.

3:49 p.m, caller heard five gunshots in the Maple Avenue area.

4:48 p.m., caller’s daughter is sitting outside on Butler Drive and is causing a disturbance.

7:25 p.m., staff at the Bunny Davis pool said they are closing and a teenager doesn’t have a ride home.
