Edith Mae Southerland Terrell

1919-2018

Edith Mae Southerland Terrell, 98, of Maxey Valley, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018.

Born August 30, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Sid and Ethel Shepperson Southerland.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Edgar Terrell; sons, Larry Terrell and Michael Terrell; daughter, LaYvonne Puckett; grandson, Mark Lay; sisters, Agnes Angel, Laura Wilson and Louise Southerland; and brothers, Bill, Delbert, Paul and Robert Southerland.

She is survived by brother, Buddy (June) Southerland; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Terrell; eight grandchildren, Tim Lay, Troy (Katie) Lay, Tony (Karen) Lay, Jessica (Bill) Short, Michelle Terrell, Ronnie Puckett, Cassy Benanzer and Melissa Stearns; 10 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home with Bro. Ben Pixley officiating. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery. Visitation is after 11:30 a.m., Saturday.
