member with the Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky (KHAKY).

Brian Wofford, a native of Boyle County, has a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Eastern Kentucky University and is a member of the local Agency for Substance Abuse Prevention and the Heroin Task Force.

Wofford is employed by the Boyle County Detention Center. As chief deputy, he is responsible for overseeing PREA, training and operations. He has more than 20 years in law enforcement experience.

Prior to joining Boyle County Detention Center, Wofford served six years in the U.S. Marine Corps and is a Desert Storm Veteran.

Wofford has been married to his wife, Lori for 19 years, and they have a daughter, Ella, who attends Boyle County High School.
