Connie Daugherty Selvey

1941-2018

Connie Daugherty Selvey, 77, Hustonville, widow of Art Selvey Jr., died Saturday at her home Hustonville, KY. Born August 4,1941, in Mitchellsburg, she was the daughter of the late Jasper Elijah and Viola (Lamb) Galloway.

Connie retired as an operator from AT&T. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church, where she played the piano and organ, also a member of the Red Hats. She loved butterflies and most everything purple.

Connie is survived by: two sons: Troy (Mira) Daugherty of Hustonville, and Rex (Melanie) Daugherty of Columbia, three grandchildren, one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by: a daughter, Mitzi Dawn Daugherty.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday; August 15 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, by Harold Best and Andy Mikles.

Visitation 5-8 pm Tuesday; August 14 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 1280 Faulkner Lane, Danville,. Burial will follow in the Danville Memorial Gardens.
