Obama filled government with ‘political hacks’

Dear Editor,

With the bizarre and self-serving accusations against the president by former Obama CIA Director John Brennan, it’s becoming increasingly clear what the real Obama legacy is. Nevermind Obama’s giving $150 billion dollars to state terrorist sponsor Iran. Nevermind his unenforced “red line” to Syria’s Assad over the use of chemical weapons. Nevermind his acquiescence to Chinese theft of technology.

The real Obama legacy is his administration’s overloading government’s top positions with political hacks and ineptness. John Brennan, who you would think would actually know the law, is accusing the president — without evidence — of treason,  a crime punishable by death. His evidence: the president’s refusal to declare 100-percent confidence in the Intelligence Community’s findings. Has it ever occurred to Mr. Brennan that it is precisely because of political hacks like Brennan that Trump may be skeptical? Trump knows, as we all do, that the intelligence community “got it wrong” on Saddam Hussein and his weapons of mass destruction.

Obama’s Peter Strzok emailed an FBI confident not to worry about a Trump win, that he “would stop it.” FBI second in command Andrew McCabe was in on the plan to create an “insurance policy” against Trump winning. That a small group of people would plot to thwart the will of an American presidential election is outrageous.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who in order to hide her “slush fund,” known as The Clinton Foundation, used a private email server, which almost certainly was hacked by rivals and enemies around the world.

Then there is the strange and narcissistic James Comey, the FBI Director whose investigation of Hillary Clinton produced an exoneration BEFORE she had even been interviewed. Then, Obama’s Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, had a three hour meeting on the tarmac on a private jet with the husband of the subject of the investigation! Why do we even bother to have laws — the Clinton’s are above them anyway.

Of course Obama’s Head of Intel, James Clapper, lied to Congress about spying on Americans.  Eric Holder had the hair-brained Fast and Furious scandal. Obama’s economic team told us to get used to anemic 1.9 percent GDP growth — the “new normal.” Trump is growing the economy at 4.1 percent.

The real Obama Legacy is clear — an inept government that served only the chosen few. America deserves better, and the Trump legacy will be one of openness and actual accomplishment.
