Mercer County grand jury hands up indictments on 27 in August

The following people were indicted by a Mercer County grand jury on Aug. 15:
• Drew Rechis, 25, 918 Mackville Road, Harrodsburg: flagrant non-support of his minor child. Bail was set at $5,000. Devon Schiferli testified.
• Jeffrey Goodlett, 49, 819 Clay Ave., Harrodsburg: flagrant non-support of his minor children. Bail was set at $5,000. Lori Stinnett testified.
• Gavin Patton, 37, 278 Richmond Ave., Mt. Sterling: flagrant non-support of his minor children. Bail was set at $5,000. Stinnett testified.
• Willie Collins, 46, 2281 Oregon Road, Salvisa: making false statements to obtain or increase benefits more than $100 by allegedly failing to report a change affecting his eligibility to receive unemployment insurance benefits. Bail was set at $5,000. Joseph Trent with the OET testified.
• Samual Hitchner, 28, 202 West Mill St., Burgin: first-degree unlawful access to computer to obtain money or property by means of false representation. Bail was set at $10,000. Brian Allen with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.
• Joey Mobley, 56, 4700 Bohon Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. Scott Elder with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.
• Charles Lawrence, 20, 2915 Louisville Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree sexual abuse by subjecting a child younger than 12 to sexual contact. Bail was set at $10,000. Elder testified.
• Carl Lawrence, 45, 2915 Louisville Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree wanton endangerment by allowing his minor child to be subjected to sexual contact. Bail was set at $5,000. Elder testified.
• Kerry Carr, 40, 529 East Office St., Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. Aaron Steele with the HPD testified.
• Robert Hines, 25, 310 Barr St., Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Elizabeth Medley, 48, 232 Campbell St., Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Paul Cox, 50, 111 Shearin Ave., Danville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $5,000. Richard Reilly with the HPD testified.
• Jennifer Miller, 36, 210 East Broadway, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, fentanyl and heroin. Bail was set at $10,000. Brian Allen with the HPD testified.
• Angelia Eades, 51, 380 Dix Dam Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at $10,000. Elder testified.
• Kenny Vineyard, 48, 210 East Broadway, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine; first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, fentanyl. Bail was set at $5,000. Allen testified.
• Jeffery Carmickle, 20, Boyle County Detention Center: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia, syringe. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Garnetta Benge, 49, 202 East Broadway, Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia, straw and baggie. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Anthony Farmer, 50, 204 East Broadway, Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia, straw and baggie. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Jamin Blaketer, 29, 771 Perryville Road, Harrodsburg: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of property valued less than $500 from Walmart. Bail was set at $5,000. Richard Reilly with the HPD testified.
• William Sacco, 22, 1100 Burger Knob, Junction City: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia, syringe. Bail was set at $5,000. Steele testified.
• Jamel Taylor, 27, 1467 Grapevine Road, Harrodsburg: third-degree burglary; theft by unlawful taking of property valued less than $500 from Walmart. Bail was set at $5,000. Taylor Smith with the HPD testified.
