Lincoln county grand Jury indicts 15 in August

The following people were indicted by a Lincoln County grand jury on Aug. 1:

• Otha G. Wesley, 45, 2434 Ky. 2227, Somerset: murder of April Neikirk; abuse of a corpse; tampering with physical evidence; kidnapping; first-degree being a persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $500,000 cash only. Kentucky State Police Detective Cameron Allen testified.

• Whitney D. Soard, 489 North Frank Denham Road, Ferguson: criminal facilitation to murder of April Neikirk; abuse of a corpse; tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set at $200,000 cash or property. Allen testified.

• Sheila B. Keith, 27, 12489 Ky. 1247, Waynesburg: criminal facilitation to murder April Neikirk; tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set at $200,000 cash or property. Allen testified.

• Steven L. Hoeck, 42, 2919 Pine Grove Road, Crab Orchard: theft by unlawful taking of property valued more than $10,000 from Ephesus Baptist Church. Bail was set at $50,000 cash or property. KSP detective Monty Owens testified.

• Robert H. Martin Jr., 49, first-degree bail jumping for allegedly failing to appear in court. Bail was set at $2,500. Angie Napier with the Lincoln County Circuit Clerk’s office testified.

• Mackenzie Ann Luttrell, 20, 82 Wheeler Woods Spur Road: tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or property. KSP detective Frank Thornberry testified.

• Robert W. Sparks, 41, 6947 Ky. 698, Hustonville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or property. Ryan Kirkpatrick with the Stanford Police Department testified.

• John S. Quinn, 34, 149 Cardinal Circle, Lancaster: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine; second-degree being a persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Kirkpatrick testified.

• Gregory R. Seney, 40, 838 Conn Lane, Lancaster: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Kirkpatrick testified.

• Victor L. Carpenter, 62, 101 West Maxwell St., Stanford: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Kirkpatrick testified.

• Sandra M. Miles, 34, 101 West Maxwell St., Stanford: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Kirkpatrick testified.

• Tyrone T. Bradley, 31, 1090 Piney Woods Road, Nancy: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Zach Middleton with the Stanford Police Department testified.

• Louis W. Goode, 49, 332 Stanford St., Crab Orchard: trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Rob Oney with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Curtis W. Estep, 40, 4980 Ky. 39 North, Crab Orchard: driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; three counts second-degree assault by driving his vehicle in such a way that caused physical injury; two counts first-degree wanton endangerment. Bail was set at $100,000 cash or property. Oney testified.

• Jody Ann Feese, 31, 9235 Ky. 698, Hustonville: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or property. Michael Mullins with the LCSO testified.

The following people were directly indicted without appearing before the grand jury:

• Dillon Treadway: first-degree criminal mischief; fourth-degree assault.

• Jesse A. Gregory: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

• Amy Lynn Thomopoulos: first-degree promoting contraband; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

The following people were recently granted pre-trial diversion:

• William David Strevels: possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine.

• Chastity Lynnae Kessler: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin.
