The Traveling Kentucky Vietnam Wall, displaying the names of Kentuckians killed in the Vietnam War, taken prisoner or still missing, will be in Casey County on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 28-29.

A ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, at the Ag Center’s Pork Produce Building. The ceremony will include a memorial presentation, an invocation, the Pledge of Allegiance, and a guest speaker.

A Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs (KDVA) representative will also be available to help veterans fill out claims and obtain help with PTSD counseling.

Casey County veterans represented on the wall include:

• Roger Leroy Conner (PFC),  March 2, 1944-June 8, 1966;

• Clifton Henson (CPL), Jan. 29, 1943-Dec. 29, 1967;

• Edgar Godbey (SSGT), April 16, 1933-July 1, 1968; and

• Ewell Lee, Jr. (PFC), March 31, 1945-April 22, 1967.
