Jacqueline Sims

1946-2018

Jacqueline Sims, 72, of Danville, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her home. Jackie was the Director of Danville-Boyle County Senior Citizens for 38 years, serving on numerous National Boards, and committees. She was a member of Doctor’s Fork Baptist Church in Perryville.

She is survived by her son, Michael L. Sims (Kristy); granddaughter, Madelyn Elizabeth Sims; and a brother, Jerry Wilson.

Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth L. Wilson and father, J.D. Wilson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. John David Lane officiating. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. until service time. Private burial will be in Parksville Cemetery, Parksville.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Young, Steve Anderson, Rodney Lanham, Kevin Lanham, Charles McHolan and Hershel McKinley. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucky Collins, Ann Canter and Joyce Rolland.
