Southern Heirs performing Sunday
Southern Heirs will be singing at Mt. Salem Baptist Church on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
South District Widows/Widowers Meal and Meeting
The next meeting of the South District Baptist Associational Widows/Widowers Meal and Meeting will be Sunday, Sept. 16, in the fellowship hall at Indian Hills Christian Church, 516 Grabuck Street, Danville. All widows and widowers are welcome.
The meal will be prepared by the ladies of the church, with serving beginning at 12:30 p.m. The program will be “Shade Tree Car Mechanics and Purchasing 101.” Rebecca Carnell, a KY Joy In The Mourning team member and an experienced car owner, will give a an interesting and informative presentation.

Saint James AME pastor appreciation
Historic Saint James A.M.E. Church’s pastor appreciation service will be held Sunday, Sept. 9. The church is located at 124 E. Walnut St., Danville. The pastor is Rev. Ralph Boyd Smith and first lady is Mrs. Yvonne M. Smith.
Dinner will be served at 2 p.m. The Sunday afternoon service will be at 4 p.m., with guest preacher Elder William D. Beasley Sr., pastor, and Elect Lady Evette Beasley of New Beginning Pentecostal Church, 646 Frankfort Road, Shelbyville.
Gift of Grace to sing Sunday
Gift of Grace will be singing at Charity First Church of God on College Street in Hustonville on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 11 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Homecoming at Pleasant Hill Baptist
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on Logan Road in Gravel Switch will hold homecoming services on Sunday, Sept. 9, starting at 10:30 a.m. The Still Voice Quartet will be singing during the morning worship. A fellowship dinner will follow. Bro Jami Hamilton is pastor.
Crab Orchard gospel meeting
Crab Orchard Church of Christ, 9235 Stanford St., Crab Orchard, will hold a gospel meeting Sunday through Friday, September 16-21. Services will be 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday and 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The speaker will be Joel Raulerson. Bible lessons will pertain to this life and preparing us for life after death. Everyone is welcome.
