Janice L. (Baker) Hoskins

1944-2018

Janice L. (Baker) Hoskins, 74, of Crab Orchard, passed away Thursday, September 6, at her home. She was the wife of Barney Hoskins whom she married on May 5, 1972. Janice was born in Stanford to the late Richard and Ruth (Stevens) Baker. She was a lifetime member of Watts Chapel Baptist Church Crab and was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union. Janice had worked as a secretary for various County Judge Executives in both Lincoln and Garrard Counties.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Barney Hoskins; son, Jason Hoskins and his wife Sarah; grandson, Finnian Richard Lee Hoskins; sister, Joyce Baker; nephew, Allen Bruce Deatherage and wife Rebecca.

Funeral service 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 9, 2018 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dan Gutenson and Bro. Ralph Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Crab Orchard Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until funeral time at 2 p.m. on Sunday at McKnight Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jason Hoskins, Danny Lewis, Bruce Deatherage, Ray, John and Gary Godbey. Honorary pallbearer is Paul Barrett.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Watts Chapel Baptist Church.
