Bugg, Davis, join McDaniel Wealth Management

McDaniel Wealth Management recently welcomed Amy D. Bugg and Carolann Davis to its team.

As director of marketing and business development, Bugg is responsible for the firm’s external and internal communications and public relations efforts, as well as community relations and business development practices. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Centre College (2004) and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Kentucky (2011).

Bugg is originally from Harrodsburg and a graduate of Harrodsburg High School.

Bugg serves as vice chair of the board of directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Bluegrass and volunteers her time to several local nonprofit organizations. She and her husband reside in Danville with their two sons.

As accounting manager, Davis’ primary responsibilities include client payroll and bookkeeping services. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Morehead State University (2011) and a Master of Business Administration from Midway College (2014).

Davis is a Danville native and graduate of Boyle County High School. During her free time, Davis enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Danville with her husband, Will, their daughter, Lucy, and Goldendoodle, Charlee.

Mercer Farm Bureau opens new location

The Mercer County Farm Bureau Board of Directors recently approved a measure allowing the Mercer County Farm Bureau Insurance Agency to add a new location. With

this expansion, Chuck Osborne, vice president of agency support & marketing for Kentucky Farm Bureau (KFB) Insurance in Louisville, also announced that two new agency managers have been appointed to lead those offices.

The county’s current office location will now be identified as the Mercer County Farm Bureau – Morris Drive Agency, and it will be led by new agency manager Libby Mayo-Stocker.  Mayo-Stocker is a Harrodsburg native. She started as a licensed CSR at Mercer County Farm Bureau Insurance Agency in 1999. She has been an agent in that same office since 2006.

         Smith

Additionally, the Mercer County Farm Bureau – Summit Center Agency is now open and under the guidance of agency manager Bobby Smith. Smith is a Butler County native who started with KFB Insurance as an agent in Morgantown in 2007. For the past three years, Smith has been the agency manager at the Gallatin County Agency.
