Dear Editor,

It is election time, Nov. 6. It is an important time. I have voted since I was 18 years old. I treasure my privilege and duty to vote. If you don’t vote and speak out for what you believe, then don’t complain.

Boyle County Fiscal Court has good, knowledgeable and experienced magistrates that have made important decisions and kept our county in good fiscal condition and we continue to get exceptional service, to mention a few: sheriff’s office, rescue, fire department, jail, trash and so many others.

Phil Sammons has been a magistrate on the fiscal court for 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and experienced and that is what we are going to need in a few years ahead. Phil doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind and beliefs on any vote that comes up and it is always in the best interest of the citizens.

I do not live in his District 3, but I urge the citizens in his district to vote to re-elect Phil Sammons for your magistrate.

Phil is your vote on fiscal court and has always voted for you the citizens. He has helped keep us in sound fiscal condition and I urge you to vote to re-elect Phil Sammons.

We have good magistrates on our Boyle Fiscal Court that are doing an excellent job, so why not vote to keep all of them.
