Kentucky State University marching band to perform

The Bate High School Alumni Association is sponsoring The Kentucky State University marching band on Friday, Oct. 5, at Danville High School’s football game. The performance will be a pre-game event from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. at DHS’s Admiral Stadium.

In the editorial “Candidates should be pushing for public forums” that appeared on Tuesday’s opinion page, the U.S. congressional district was identified incorrectly. Incumbent Brett Guthrie and challenger Hank Linderman are competing to represent Kentucky’s 2nd Congressional District.
