Dear Editor,
Mr. Glen A. Ball is a native of Danville who graduated from Bate High School and continued his education at Tennessee State University. Our new superintendent is a graduate of this school. Mr. Ball had a very successful work experience with NASA and the Orlando Airport. He is also a certified pilot. He and his wife Barbara decided to come back home after he retired being away from Danville for about 40 years. They are the proud parents of two sons, one who lives near Atlanta and the other one in the Orlando area.
Mr. Ball came back home and got busy involving himself in his church and in the Danville school system, becoming a substitute teacher. Enjoying what he is doing, he felt he wanted to do more and doing more, he decided to run for the school board. He is a dedicated and loyal person who takes pride in helping students and others to do the best they can and don’t become a statistic of failure.
Our community needs more Glen A. Ball’s who are concerned about the welfare of our children, our parents and the education and training our children are receiving. We need more doers than followers. I am asking if you want to have someone represent you and represent you well, then Mr. Glen A. Ball is your man.
