Dear Editor,

I am writing this letter to express my support for the re-election of Steve Becker to the Danville school board.

Steve has served two terms on the Danville school board from 2001 to 2008 and 2014 to present. Not only does Steve have 10-plus years of experience serving on the Danville school board, he has been passionate in his support of the Danville school system.

On Oct. 28, 2017, Steve spent a cold Saturday at Cardinal Stadium with the Danville High School Marching Band performing in the state finals. He was the only school board member who supported these students that day!

Steve enthusiastically supports all of the Danville Schools programs equally. For example, I have sat next to Steve while he cheers on the Ads at various school functions, including school plays, choir concerts and sporting events.

I have known Steve for a number of years. He is devoted to the success of the Danville school system and he has the experience to lead our youth and their programs into the future.

Please consider Steve Becker for the Danville School Board when you cast your vote on Nov. 6!
