I want to encourage a vote for Steve Becker for Danville School Board.

I’ve known Steve several years. I have two sons who graduated from and spent their entire school careers in the Danville school system. I do feel confident in saying Steve Becker is very passionate for the betterment of our school system and creating opportunities for our students.

I’ve been involved in some capacity in the Danville School system for better than 18 years. Currently, I serve on the Danville Educational Foundation board. My sons were involved in band, robotics, forensics and track. Steve has always been a staunch supporter at events. Attending most functions. Which is how I began to know he and his wife Mimi.

Last year, the Danville Marching Band went to the state finals in Louisville. Steve asked if he might ride along with us. He was the only board member in attendance. His joy was apparent. Walking around high-fiving the students during breaks. Also on a cold windy rainy day. That is passion!

We’ve shared conversation many times about his ideas, his goals. He is always ready with an open ear to hear opinions and answer questions.

I implore you! Please remember Steve Becker for Danville school board when going to the poll. A passionate good man who will work tirelessly for our school system.
