Wanda Theall, 94, of Stanford, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston. Wanda was born on September 28, 1924, in Wister, Oklahoma to the late C.R. and Josie Fannin Baldwin. She was a school teacher for over 30 years where she taught in Ohio, Kansas and Indiana. Wanda enjoyed music, and played the piano and organ. Wanda was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving is a daughter, Marcia Hodge (Daryl) of Lancaster; a son, Michael Theall of Covington; three grandchildren, John Hodge (Stephanie) of Lexington, Brian Hodge of Murfreesboro Tenn., and Athena David of Chicago, Ill.; two great-grandchildren, Thad Hulett and Ali Hulett both of Lancaster.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, at Centenary United Methodist Church in Danville, with Sean Ryan and Quentin Schultz officiating. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, at Spurlin Funeral Home in Lancaster. Visitation will also be 9:00 -11:00 a.m. on Monday morning at the church.

Active pallbearers are John Hodge, Brian Hodge, Thad Hulett, Ali Hulett, Shania Napier, and Randy Greene. Honorary pallbearers are Vivian Chambers, Sherry Brown, Ann McQueary, and the staff of Heritage Hospice.
