October 14-20, 2018 is Kentucky Retired Teachers Week. There are over 500 retired teachers living in Boyle County.

Last year, Boyle County Retired Teachers volunteered over 5,000 hours in the Danville Boyle County area. They donated 52 bags of food to the Salvation Army food pantry, collected school supplies for the local schools, and volunteered in the community
