I am writing in support of Paul Smiley’s candidacy for the Danville Independent school board.

I have known Paul professionally and personally for the nearly 40 years I have lived Danville. He held many responsible positions at the Kentucky School for the Deaf and always put the needs of the students first. Paul and his wife Pat raised their three sons in Danville, and they were educated in Danville Schools.

Paul has served previously on the school board and the Danville City Commission, as well as community boards and committees. He is active in his local church.

I support Paul because he will bring experience, commitment and a heart for children to the job.
