Eliza Marsh, at right, a Burgin Independent sophomore and Arts Commission music apprentice, appeared Oct. 24 on a live taping of the Red Barn Radio Hour in Lexington. Marsh has an active schedule of extra-curricular activities and advanced placement classes, but her passion is singing, songwriting and music production. The opportunity to see and participate in the production of the show will add to her experience preparing for her future. Marsh also produces a program at school in which she books, preps, interviews and manages music performances throughout the year. Travis Kern, music mentor, introduced the Arts Commission Entrepreneur program to the live audience and Marsh conducted one of the interview segments of the program featuring Danville singer Coby Langham and Citizens Band. The program will air 8 p.m. on Nov. 3 on WEKU 88.9 FM and 9 p.m. on WUKY 91.3 FM
