I am submitting a letter of recommendation for Mr. Tom Ellis, candidate for District 1 magistrate. I had the opportunity and privilege to hire Mr. Ellis as a social studies teacher at Washington County High School in 2006. Mr. Ellis was a very conscientious teacher and worked extremely hard at providing his students with good classroom instruction. He was very supportive of administration, fellow staff and cared deeply about his students.

Mr. Ellis is very devoted to his faith in God. He will provide constituents in his district with strong conservative leadership. He is a man of great integrity and has a work ethic second to none. The people in his district will get a full-time magistrate who will work long hours and be available to discuss issues as needed. He will be very honest and open with his opinions but willing to listen to everyone’s concerns. I have great respect for Mr. Ellis and believe he would be a very good candidate this November as District 1 magistrate. If I was a Boyle County resident, he would certainly get my vote.
