As an alumni of Danville, I used to be proud to say that I am an Admiral. Here recently, I can’t say that I’m too proud of the direction it has gone. Yes, there’s still great leaders in positions, but when I think of what those leaders consist of, I think of Aaron Etherington.

I had Coach E as a basketball coach during my time has a High School student athlete at Danville High School. As soon as the season hit, I could feel his commitment for my teammates and myself.

He adapted to what an Admiral has always been. His caring nature and commitment to the students really shows. Still to this day he speaks to me as if I’m still one of his players. He cares!

He ask how I’m doing, how is life! You know, those caring questions of a school employee to their past players and students. I am pleased to be able to be on Coach E side and having him represent Danville schools.

It speaks volumes that he’s still committed to the community when he has ever reason not to be. Not only will he care for the general students and athletes but he will also pour his heart into making all of Danville Schools great again! I couldn’t think of a better person to represent Danville schools. Coach E definitely has my vote and I truly believe he will always do what’s best for the Danville students and staff! He’s caring, committed and competitive!
