Their son, Logan McKee Cheek, a lawyer, was born July 12, 1886, and died March 1, 1911. He is buried in Bellevue Cemetery.

The name of Alexander McKee Cheek (1883-1889), their eldest child was omitted from the article.

A grandson of the Cheek couple also was named Logan McKee Cheek (1913-1996.) He was a son of Francis Powell Cheek.
