Ella Mae Reed Wilson, 86, died, Monday, November 19, 2018. She was born in Danville on August 21, 1932 to the late Virgil Andy and Avo Risden Reed. Ella Mae attended Forkland School and was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook and homemaker. Ella Mae listened to her wonder Bible every morning for hours. She loved and nurtured farm animals and enjoyed listening to WDFB’s gospel music and preaching. She loved her Family most of all and her poodle, Sunny. Ella Mae was loved by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Arnold Hoyatt Risden.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse C. Wilson; two sons, Gary “Brother”(Angie) Wilson, Lonnie Wayne (Sharon) Wilson all of Forkland; a daughter, Melissa (Donnie) Coyle of Parksville; three grandchildren, Derek (Jana) Wilson, Greg (Erika) Wilson, Dana Coyle; seven great grandchildren, Madison, Zach, Amber, Ben, Natalie, Gracie and Waylon Wilson; nephews Gary Wayne Rothwell, Jimmy Wilson, Lindell Milaim and many special nieces.

The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, November 26, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. JR Fields and Rev. Stacy Wilson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Derek Wilson, Greg Wilson, Stacy Wilson, Randall Wilson, Terry Wilson and William Earl Orberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Naylor, Bruce Naylor, Ed Naylor, Tom Naylor, Chris Casey, Mike Wilson and Ray Wilson. Burial will be in Wilson Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to WDFB Radio Station.
