Young women business owners deserve recognition

There are many things about our community to love. I especially love the small businesses. There are three in particular that I would like to praise because they are owned and operated by young women. They are continually growing and improving their businesses by providing excellent, personal service and trying new things to keep their businesses vital and fresh.
These young ladies are Jenna Gordon, Special Care for Special Pets (doggy daycare and boarding); Crystal Jones, Purple Pinky (nail technician and event planner); and Savannah Lester, Essential Kneads (massage and facials).
Anyone who has ever owned a business knows how hard it is to do. These young ladies do it with grace and ingenuity. They have found a niche in our community and are filling that niche with friendly, professional service. The quality of their services make our community better.
I am sure there are other young women entrepreneurs, but I am spotlighting these because I deal with them often. They are the age of my children and I have watched them grow up. Congratulations to Jenna, Crystal and Savannah for successfully owning and operating their own businesses.
