Casey grand jury hands up indictments on 16

The following people were indicted by a Casey County grand jury on Nov. 14:

• Tonia Leeann McQueary, 31, Kings Mountain: making false statement or misrepresentation to receive benefits more than $100 from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for a total of $8,984. Bail was set at $2,500 surety bond and Chris Knifley with the Office of Inspector General testified.

• Mark Edward Cheeseman, 57, Windsor: four counts first-degree wanton endangerment to an adult and three juveniles when he fired a gun in their direction; violation of protective order. Summons was issued. Chad Weddle with the Casey County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• James Edward Stacy, 26, Yosemite: flagrant non-support with arrears of $4,596.08. Bail was set at $2,300 cash and Chasity Crew testified.

• Joshua Trent Roy, 37, Liberty: two counts flagrant non-support with arrears of $13,527.19 and $10,427.04. Bail was set at $7,500 and Crews testified.

• Kyle T. Maddox, 38, Hustonville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine: Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Weddle testified.

• William Michael Wethington, 23, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.

• Michael O. Huff, 31, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.

• Joseph L. Goforth, 56, Liberty: trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, second offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; first-degree bail jumping. Bail was set at $2,500 cash or property and Weddle testified.

• Joshua Dwight Gamble, 30, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; illegal possession of a legend drug; reckless driving; first-degree bail jumping. Bail was set at $1,500 and Weddle testified.

• Alan Lee Gaddis, 40, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; public intoxication. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.

• Ryan Joseph Sheene, 36, Liberty: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth, third offense; possession of drug paraphernalia; third-degree criminal trespassing. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Weddle testified.

• Christopher Eads, 18, Windsor: first-degree wanton endangerment by firing a gun into a vehicle; third-degree criminal mischief by damaging a vehicle. Bail was set at $25,000 cash. Geoff Brown with the CCSO and Kevin Wray testified.

• Lorie A. Harmon, 52, Hustonville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; driving a vehicle under the influence of intoxicants; no driver’s insurance; careless driving. Bail was set at $1,500 cash and Brown testified.

• Chad Allen Peyton, 34, Liberty: first-degree fleeing or evading police; first-degree persistent felony offender; disregarding a stop sign. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Casey County Sheriff Jerry Coffman testified.

• Rabecca Jean Hobbs, 40, Elk Horn: identity theft; first-degree persistent felony offender; giving an officer false identifying information; driving on a suspended license; no driver’s insurance; no or expired registration plates; no registration receipt. Bail was set at $1,500 cash. Billy Begley with Kentucky State Police testified.

• Adam Jeremy Ford, 25, Liberty: using electronics to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activity; five counts of being a persistent felony offender; promoting a sexual performance by a minor under age 16; possession of or viewing matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor; distribution of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor; first-degree criminal solicitation to commit rape of a child younger than 12. Bail was set at $100,000 cash. Craig Miller with KSP testified.
