James “Jim” Lewis Duncan, 63, died Friday, November 30, 2018.

Born November 1, 1955, in North Carolina, he was the son of Margaret Duncan Grider and the late William Duncan. Jim was an electrician retired from Phillips Lighting, where he was a Union President. Currently, he was working as an electrician for Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government. Jim had several hobbies and interests which included raising quail and bird dogs for competition; he loved horses, golf, softball, the outdoors and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved his family dearly. Jim was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church.

He was survived by his companion, Vickie Gordon; daughters, Kelly (Nick) Caton of Harrodsburg and Sheri (Jeremiah) Satterly of Danville; a brother, Lance (Naomi) Duncan of Monticello; a sister, Cindi Davidson of Danville; grandchildren, Gracie Caton, Seth Caton, Chapman Satterly and Jackson Satterly.

The funeral services will be 1 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Bobby Estes will officiate. Burial will be at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Pallbearers will be Brian Duncan, Jordan Duncan, Benjamen Duncan, Peewee Wilburn, Steve Wright, Eugene Devine, Tim Tuttle and Jackie Antle. Honorary pallbearers will be P.J. Duncan, Mike Singleton, Jack Duncan, Lindsay Devine, Holly Hammons, James Bottoms, Dustin Devine and Austin Hammons.
