Boyle County Board of Education — 7 p.m. today, Dec. 20 at the Boyle County Middle School Library. Agenda includes: Notice of Boyle County School Needs Assessment;  Board Action Items – Consider Pay Application Number Eleven (11) for Branscum – W. Rogers, LLC for the New Boyle County Middle School Construction Project, in the amount of $669,355.37, Consider Color Board/Palette for the New Boyle County Middle School Construction Project, Consider District Improvement Plan, Consider Implementing the Civics Test Platform Created Jointly Between Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) and the University of Kentucky (UK) to Fulfill Graduation Requirement by Senate Bill 159, Consider 2019 – 2020.

The Boyle County Courthouse will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25 in observance of Christmas.

The Boyle County Animal Shelter will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25 and Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.

Boyle County Department of Solid Waste has restructured the days of operation.  All Convenience Centers will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25.  They will also be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2019.

All convenience centers will be open on Wednesday, Dec. 26 and Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.  This includes the Perryville and Forkland convenience centers. Old Bridge Subdivision pick-up will be on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019.

Republic Service will not be providing services Tuesday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day) and Tuesday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day). Therefore, everyone’s service will be delayed by one day.  (Tuesday on Wednesday, Wednesday on Thursday, etc.)
