The Isaiah House Treatment Center, based in Willisburg, will be opening a Danville facility in March to help men and women who are battling drug and alcohol issues overcome their addictions.

The office will be located at 975 Hustonville Road, Suite 7 in the Southland Shopping Center.

The center will be an outpatient and intensive outpatient facility similar to the Isaiah House in Willisburg, however it will not be a residential treatment center.

Therapies will include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy and reality therapy, Isaiah House Resource Development director Jeff Moreland wrote in an email.

“It will be professionally staffed with licensed clinicians, case management services, peer support services, and a broad array of other services. We will be AODE (Alcohol and Other Drug Entity) and BHSO (Behavioral Health Service Organization) licensed, as well as CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities) approved.”

Moreland wrote, “We’ve been offering that for a while on campus, and now we are offering a level of care in Danville to be an assistance to the community. We may also offer some other services, such as DUI assessments, and we could potentially look at some other things, such as counseling for domestic violence and other issues.”

He said many of the Isaiah House clients have problems other than substance and alcohol abuse. “They come in with other mental health disorders, from depression and anxiety to bipolar and schizophrenia. There are a number of other things in combination with substance abuse, and that’s why we have a professional team of clinicians and medical personnel to assess those clients and address each need on an individual basis.”

The Isaiah House is a Christ-centered drug and alcohol treatment center that features a holistic approach, treating all aspects of a person’s needs including spiritual, physical, mental, financial, legal and educational.

Clients are also guaranteed an opportunity for employment after 100 to 120 days of treatment, Moreland said. The guarantee for a job is made possible through several businesses that the Isaiah House owns in order to help train their clients for employment after treatment, Moreland said. Having a job opportunity while in treatment, “allows them the ability to help pay for their treatment, send money home, pay restitution and save money,” Moreland said.
